Yorkshire Tea Loaf - traditional large loaf cake handmade on the Farmhouse Aga.
 
Moist, fruity tea loaf, perfect served with Wensleydale Cheese as they do in Yorkshire! Or spread butter thickly ( in Yorkshire they don't do anything by halves!)

This is a large tea loaf, weighing around 1.2kg, and it will serve 10-12.

Obviously made with Yorkshire tea ( and some ground tea leaves too! ) The fruit is soaked in the tea overnight which plumps up the fruit beautifully and maintains moistness, even when cooked. We use fresh eggs from our own rescue ducks and chickens who live a very happy life until the end, and are free to roam. All made into a large loaf cake with a hint of cinnamon spice.
